Treasury Policy & Procedure Manual

by | Mar 28, 2019

2019 has kicked off with an active interest in Treasury Policy. A comprehensive policy, as part of a treasury control framework, can help to minimize operational risk, by the tight management of financial risk and fraud. It is a useful document which sets out exactly who is responsible for what, when and how, as well as clearly identifying the risks to which the organisation is exposed and mitigating measures. Once a Treasury Policy has been developed, it is then essential that the operating procedures are documented, in the form of a Procedures Manual, so as to allow compliance with the approved policy.

BRC has provided support in the development/revision of a Treasury Policy and Procedures Manual for many organisations spanning a number of industries (please see “What we’ve done” for case studies).
